Daily Reading Challenge: Day 1

Yesterday, I sent an email to my mailing list asking if the readers would join my kids and I in a 31 Day Challenge to read the Bible together every day for 31 days.

And the response has been awesome. Thank you to everyone who emailed me and said their family will join the challenge. Patricia, Alisha, Monica & Brandi - I’m so glad to have you on board!! Please let me know how you are progressing in the coming weeks.

So today is Day 1 of the challenge.

My boys are really excited - they are competitive and they LOVE a challenge.

Like I said before, we are starting with Genesis in our Children’s Bible and reading 10-15 minutes every night. The goal is to keep it simple and strive for consistency. Once we have a great foundation, we’ll keep building and building.

Today’s Reading Plan:
-The Beginning
-Adam & Eve
-The Sneaky Snake

Are you and your children interested in joining this challenge? Hit the “Comments” button below and let me know you’re in.

See you tomorrow!

Increasing in Him,
Chanda

Yes - we’re in, we’ve been memorizing a Scripture per week! A recommendation, type the verse, or write each word from the verse on a index card and then have the children put the verse back together! It’s so much fun and helps them retain the verse!

    God Bless, HL

I really like that idea Heather. My boys love puzzles. We’ll try it over the weekend and I’ll let you know how it goes.

    Thanks for the tip!
